You can now explore the NAWAREUM digitally at your own pace! Our new interactive tours guide you through the exhibition — at your convenience, using your own smartphone. You get to decide what catches your interest and explore at your own pace.
There are two different options to choose from, tailored to different preferences and age groups:
The digital highlight tour
Your personal guide to the museum
This tour includes 14 selected stations that present the most important themes and objects of the NAWAREUM. The choice is yours: All texts are available for listening, reading, or both. Each station provides background information and shows how the exhibits are connected. In addition, each station has an optional in-depth section. You can decide for yourself which you want to read and which you want to skip.
The digital highlight tour is aimed at adults who want to get an overview. It is ideal for a first visit – or to experience the museum a second time with new perspectives. Don't forget your headphones!
The digital quiz trail
Discover the exhibition in a playful way
The digital quiz trail turns education into an adventure: a variety of search games and quizzes await you, challenging your wits. You will get to know the exhibition in an entertaining and interactive way.
The quiz trail is particularly suitable for young people aged 12+ and families. It lasts around one hour. You can look forward to sharing many eureka moments with your co-players.
How it works
- Connect to the free wifi named "BayernWLAN" at the museum (optional).
- Download the Actionbound app from the App Store. It is free of charge.
- Click on the link of your desired tour – and you're ready to go! (In the museum, you can start the tour using the QR codes posted at several locations in the foyer.)
